I don't have a favorite James Bond, but I've had a favorite Doctor for about fifteen years, and it's Jon Pertwee. For me, he was the perfect blend of brilliance, charm, style, and intermittent curmudgeonry. Tom Baker, I think, was the best ever at playing the Doctor as he would really be -- pure mad alien intellect -- but Pertwee is the Doctor that I want to be.
I've though to myself that I should draw the Doctor numerous times in the past, but never made an attempt until the other day. The likeness isn't great, but it's in the neighborhood at least.
Micron pens and one of those cheapie brush pens on printer paper.
Very, very nice. Reminds me a bit of the 70s TV Comic Pertwee strips (though this I like this more). Pertwee was the man- the only Doctor cool enough to pull off dressing like a pimp (he even had the pinky ring).

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
