I thought I remembered a part in A Princess of Mars where John Carter jumped atop a Martian and battered him to death with his bare fists. That's what's being portrayed here. Unfortunately, I just found the passage that I was thinking of in the book and it turns out I had all the details wrong. Oh well.
This needs a background, and the colors you see were done in a slap-dash manner that warrants re-doing, but I'm pretty pleased with these two figures so far, so... I'm posting it.

It might be even awesomer in front of an American flag, or some entire-globe equivalent. But I'd hate to draw attention away from the image itself, which kicks too much ass to be upstaged like that. Maaan. So cool!
