I'm doing a few new drawings for cereal:geek and that got me thinking about whether I had any kicking-around my hard disk that I had never uploaded to dA. Turns out I did. This is from last year. As with most of the cereal:geek pieces I do, the premise and basic layout came from the editor, James Eatock: Lion-O's watching VHS tapes of Thundercats. A still from the TV show and some box covers were added-in by the colourist for the magazine.
edit: I originally uploaded a greyscale version of this, but I saw that I had a colour version knocking-around, too -- which I liked better. So I've done a switcharoo, here.
That's definitely the 80s for ya. Just a plain old TV with your tapes and cassette players. Those were the days. Long before the digital era when DVD and Blu-Ray became the next big thing.
